My Story

I began my yoga journey over fifteen years ago initially attending a weekly introductory Hatha yoga class.  This was a great introduction to yoga, and I was hooked!

I started practising yoga to support my physical health but I soon realised how yoga also broadened my approaches to life and provided me with the techniques and practise to find stability, grounding, peace, and calm. Regular classes helped me to see the benefits of meditation and breathing practice.

Since my earliest experience of yoga I continue to attend regular Hatha and Vinyasa flow classes, workshops and retreats and I have explored other yoga disciplines such as Iyengar and Kundalini .

Now Iā€™m a teacher!

I have been so privileged to have studied and expanded my yoga practice in recent years.  In 2022 I successfully completed the Yoga Alliance Professionals Accredited 200 hour Teaching Training Course run by the Laura Green Teacher Training School and I am delighted and excited to be teaching yoga in my home town of Winchester!

I am passionate about how yoga can support specific life stages and seeing how the wonderful benefits of yoga of movement, connection, breathwork, and meditation can help restore and bring balance during challenging times.

I successfully completed the British Wheel of Yoga accredited Yoga for Menopause 70 hour Teacher Training Course devised and led by Petra Coveney and qualified in the summer of 2023. I am so delighted to bring this training to support people during their menopause.

I bring not only my passion for yoga and learning to my classes but also my skills as a good listener, facilitator, teacher, and organiser. Most importantly I bring myself wholeheartedly to my classes.  I look forward to welcoming you to my class soon!

True yoga is not about the shape of your body, but the shape of your life. Yoga is not to be performed; yoga is to be lived.
