Would you like a moment to feel rested and nourished as you navigate this life’s transition?

If so, then why not join me for a gentle, nurturing restorative time to relax and release during your menopausal journey.

Using the practice of yoga for guidance and calming movement, this session will allow time for relaxation and self-reflection as well as opportunity to gain wisdom from those who attend - providing community, connection, and contemplation.

my approach

I am delighted to be your guide through this session as someone who has traversed the menopause terrain and has qualified as a Menopause Yoga teacher.  I have first hand experience of how yoga can form a helpful part of a self-care strategy during the menopause and have personally benefited from the support it can provide.

I do not offer specific menopause advice but I am humbled to learn from other's experiences and to share wisdom learnt along the way.


 
 

Details

  • Yoga for Menopause is a style of yoga specifically designed to help cope with the main menopausal symptoms.

    It provides a positive approach to the menopause, seeing this life stage as an opportunity for self-insight and personal growth.

  • The next session will focus on support for fatigue, brain fog, and insomnia.

    Restorative and relaxing yoga poses, gentle flowing movement, a focus on the breath, and meditation and guided visualisations, can all help to relax the nervous system.  

    This gentle blend provides ways to nurture and comfort during the natural physiological changes of the menopause.

  • No previous yoga experience is required and the sessions are suitable for anyone regardless of fitness levels.

    The poses and movement are low impact and support will be provided and modifications given.

    Support is given specifically to those experiencing osteopenia and osteoporosis.
